Explore a new country each week! Students will listen to national anthems, sample foods from around the world, and experience different cultures through fun, hands-on activities.

Unleash your creativity! Students will create a new painting project each week while learning different techniques and styles.

Disney: The Movies – The Music
Students will learn and perform their favorite songs from beloved Disney movies in this exciting musical experience!

Since we were unable to celebrate during our Christmas parties on December 23,
We’re planning one last holiday hooray!
On January 6, the holiday cheer will return,
With festive fun planned for the afternoon.
Students are welcome to wear their merriest holiday attire that day
As we celebrate together in a fun and cheerful way.

Fifth grade reading competition parents: Please encourage your child to continue reading their books over winter break! The competition will take place in February, and some groups are still working toward finishing their first book. It’s also very helpful to ask your child questions as they read each chapter to support comprehension and engagement.

Tonight is the SVCCS Christmas Concert. School doors will open for fifth graders at 5:55pm and other students at 6:00pm. Please have your child at the school by 6:15pm. All students are performing the songs they have been practicing this fall.

Today, our kindergarteners kicked off a fun engineering project to wrap up our weather unit! After watching The Three Little Pigs, students worked in teams to build houses strong enough to withstand the huff and puff of the Big Bad Wolf.
