In celebration of this day, our librarian, Mrs. Sunderland, themed a Makerspace/STEM project featuring counting and building activities in groups of one hundred.
This winter, our students have been learning how to paint beautiful watercolor landscapes. We love seeing their creativity come to life!

On February 4th, Stone Valley Charter School’s Fourth and Fifth grade students competed in the First Annual IU Reading Competition against teams from three other school districts. We’re so proud of our students and their hard work!

ATTENTION READING COMPETITION PARENTS:
All student drop-offs must arrive at school by 8:00 AM on Wednesday, February 4th. We are scheduled to arrive at the IU by approximately 8:45 AM, so timely arrival is very important.
Attached is the competition schedule provided by the IU for your reference. We are so excited for Stone Valley students to compete in this competition for the very first time! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Hawn.

🔧 Now Hiring: Facilities Manager in Training (Anticipated) 🔧
Stone Valley Community Charter School is seeking a Facilities Manager in Training for a full-time, 12-month position. This hands-on role is designed to train alongside our current Facilities Manager, with the opportunity to assume full responsibilities upon their anticipated retirement.
Applicants should have experience in general building maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.), be comfortable working in a school environment with children present, and be able to work independently with limited supervision. All required school clearances must be obtained.
