Due to the cold weather advisory for frigid temperatures that will continue overnight and into the morning for the next two days, Stone Valley will implement a 3 Hour Delay on both Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29, 2026.
While we do not expect temperatures to climb drastically throughout the day, the extra time allows for it to get light, buses to warm up, and temperatures to rise above negative readings.
We will assess the conditions on Thursday afternoon for Friday and let you know more as we get more detailed weather reports.

Unleash your creativity! Students will create a new painting project each week while learning different techniques and styles.

Disney: The Movies – The Music
Students will learn and perform their favorite songs from beloved Disney movies in this exciting musical experience!

We’re planning one last holiday hooray!
On January 6, the holiday cheer will return,
With festive fun planned for the afternoon.
Students are welcome to wear their merriest holiday attire that day
As we celebrate together in a fun and cheerful way.

Fifth grade reading competition parents: Please encourage your child to continue reading their books over winter break! The competition will take place in February, and some groups are still working toward finishing their first book. It’s also very helpful to ask your child questions as they read each chapter to support comprehension and engagement.

Tonight is the SVCCS Christmas Concert. School doors will open for fifth graders at 5:55pm and other students at 6:00pm. Please have your child at the school by 6:15pm. All students are performing the songs they have been practicing this fall.
